A Poetic "Deep Blue" Wedding at Ciragan Palace Kempinski: Abbey & Mete

“To love is such a long word, deep sea blue…”

These profound verses by the famous poet Cemal Süreya became the guiding inspiration for Abbey and Mete’s magnificent wedding at the historic Ciragan Palace Kempinski. At Ruks Event & Design, our goal for Abbey’s dream "Blue Wedding" concept was to move beyond a simple color palette. We aimed to reflect the vast depths of the Bosphorus and the tranquil silence of the water into a high-end luxury wedding design. Within the majestic architecture of Ciragan Palace, we created custom ceiling installations reminiscent of waves swaying gently in the wind. This night, where elegance met depth, evolved into a living poem and an extraordinary destination wedding in Istanbul.
