A "Head Above the Clouds" Destination Wedding at Esma Sultan Mansion: Karina & Yaroslav

Karina and Yaroslav chose the timeless allure of Istanbul to host their guests from all over the world for a spectacular three-day destination wedding. At Ruks Event & Design, we transformed the historic ruins of Esma Sultan Mansioninto an ethereal sanctuary.

Concept: Head Above the Clouds

Inspired by the vibrant hues of the Bosphorus sunset, our design focused on blending the mansion's raw historical texture with celestial elegance. To bring the reflection of the clouds to the ground, we designed a bespoke mirrored ceremony platform adorned with thousands of carnations and hydrangeas, creating a floating cloud effect. The couple made their grand entrance accompanied by a live classical orchestra, followed by a legendary performance by Russian star Valery Meladze. Illuminated by nearly 1,000 candles and a magnificent 6-inch fireworks display over the Bosphorus, the cake-cutting ceremony marked the grand finale of this extraordinary Ruks Event & Design production.
